Socktober

By Ariana Burr
On October 17th, Edmonds-Woodway was busy collecting socks for the fall sock drive from 11:00am to 1:00pm. As the cold weather approaches, many people in need require new, warm socks. This is where Edmonds-Woodway stepped in and saw an opportunity to help our community.
Considering the pandemic, and everything else that has happened this year, the sock drive really helped to bring the school together. The only requirement for the socks was new or gently used socks that you would deem usable and warm. At the end of the day, the school came together to collect over 300 pairs of socks. All of these socks will be donated to Clothes for Kids, which is an organization providing clothes for kids in need in our area.
